Imran Khan and other PTI MNA did not confirm resignation to Speaker

Lahore: PTI MNAs including chairman Imran Khan  did not confirm their resignations to Speaker despite summons for appearance before the speaker in order to verify their resignations.

Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq had called PTI chief Imran Khan ,and three MNAs for verification of their resignations at 5pm in his chamber but they did not come.

PTI vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that when we submitted unanimously resignation then why we were being called in groups? Speaker call us together and we will confirm our resigns.

Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has said that if they want to verify their resigns together then I have no problem to call them at a time but they have to come to me for verification of their resigns,he added.

Speaker said he has accepted PTI members’ request to appear for verification of their resignations altogether. He said Imran Khan would be invited to the conference if he remains member parliament by then.Sit-ins cannot halt work process and these sit-ins would have lost life if media wouldn’t have given them ample coverage, Ayaz Sadiq maintained. He pronounced Pakistan has been elected as President of Commonwealth Parliament for a year.
