Arrest campaign to be launch against absconders: CCPO Capt Muhammad Amin

Lahore: CCPO Lahore Captain Muhammad Amin Vance has shown dissatisfaction on the performance of the City and Civil Lines divisions police and directed the SPs  to personally monitor the crime pockets of their respective divisions.SP’s of the both divisions make sure that police patrolling in the streets as well as on the main roads.

While presiding over a crime meeting of the City and Civil Lines divisions at police lines Qila Gujar Singh,CCPO Lahore shown his displeasure upon the rising number of pending cases and absconders list .He warned that departmental action would be taken against all those SDPOs and SHOs who would be failed in controlling crime in their respective areas.Such officers have no right to remain on their seats,he maintained.

Capt Amin said that crime could not be controlled without the help of the masses,that’s why he introduced community policing policy.Police public partnership must be made strong at police station and union council level and a campaign against the criminals to be launched with the cooperation of public safety committees members.He said in every country,society and city public support has great value for the eradication of crimes.

DIG Investigation Sahibzada Shahzad Sultan,DIG Ops Dr Haider Ashraf,SSP D & I Sohail Sukhera,SSP CIA Omar Virk,SP City Asad Sarfraz,SP Civil Lines Imtiaz Sarwar,SP Mujahid Zahid Nawaz,SP investigation Civil Lines Mufakhar Adeel and SP CRO Omar Riaz Cheema were also present in the meeting.
