Rana Mashud Ahmad Khan is facing investigation of video clip

Lahore: A spokesman of Punjab government has contradicted the news regarding non-participation of Provincial Minister for Law & Education Rana Mashud Ahmad Khan in Punjab Cabinet Meeting that Rana Mashud Ahmad Khan has been made in-effective till the completion of investigation of fake video clips.

According to the spokesman, Rana Mashud Ahmad Khan is in Islamabad for participation in the meeting of special committee presided over by Chairman PML-N Senator Raja Zafarul Haq for investigation of Future Concern video clip in which he had been shown taking bribes from CEO Asim Malik ,the husband of MPA Zobia Rubab Malik due to which he could not attend Punjab Cabinet meeting today.

The spokesman further said that a formal letter has been sent by Deputy Secretary Cabinet S&GAD Punjab to Rana Mashud Ahmad Khan for participation in today’s cabinet meeting, therefore, the news for not inviting him to cabinet meeting is totally false and baseless.
