Lahore: Central leader of Pakistan Muslim League-N, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that after the failure of London conspiracy, the leaders staging sit-ins should come out to help the flood affectees. He said that the nation has given decision in favour of supremacy of parliament and continuity of democracy by rejecting their negative politics.
He expressed these views while talking to media on the occasion of distributing cheques of financial assistance among the heirs of those who were martyred in the incident of Darogawala mosque today. Hamza Shahbaz also announced to reconstruct the mosque.
Cheques for Rs. 16 lakh each were given to the heirs of 22 martyrs while Rs. one lakh each were given to 11 injured persons. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif also expressed condolences with the affected families and offered Fateha for the departed souls. Members National Assembly Malik Muhammad Pervaiz, Rohail Asghar and MPA Waheed Gull were also present on the occasion.
Later, talking to media, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that all 11 parties in the parliament unanimously rejected sit-in politics and supported democracy and expressed confidence in Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif but those staging sit-ins insist that the government should pay attention to their demands without caring decisions of parliament, mandate of the people and the flood affectees. He said that the entire nation knows that sit-ins gave nothing to the country except causing chaos, economic loss and postponing fruitful visits of foreign heads. He said that nation will hold accountable to those who are responsible of the postponement of visit of Chinese President and damaging image of the motherland.
Replying to a question, Hamza Shahbaz said that London conspiracy of sit-in leaders have exposed and facts will be cleared in the coming days. He said that the claimants of making new Pakistan should first make new Pakistan in KPK as people of that province had given mandate to them. He expressed the hope that Chinese President will visit Pakistan. He said that nation has rejected sit-in politics which is proof of the fact that the day will definitely come when Pakistan will be transformed in accordance with the vision of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal.
