Lahore: Provincial Minister for Food Bilal Yasin has said that rescue and relief activities of flood affectees have been entered into important phase of their rehabilitation. He said that Punjab government will not leave the distressed people alone in this hour of trial and will not rest content till the complete rehabilitation of flood affectees.
He said this while presiding over a high level meeting of Cabinet Committee on Flood Relief at Civil Secretariat here today. Bilal Yasin directed district administrations all over the province to spare no effort in providing relief to the flood affectees. He said that according to the instructions of Chief Minister Punjab, food hampers, medicines, fodder for animals and tents should be provided to the affectees in relief camps according to their requirements.
Col. Retd. Shuja Khanzada said that the administrations of affected districts and officers of all concerned departments have played commendable role in providing relief and rescue to their distressed brethren. He expressed the hope that administrations and officers will work with the same spirit in rehabilitation of flood affectees.
