Lahore: In the wake of the worst flood in Punjab, Chief Minister’s Fund for Flood Relief has been set up for the help and assistance of the affectees. All members of provincial cabinet and elected representatives belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-N will donate their one-month’s salary to the fund.
Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has appealed to the people of the country, overseas Pakistanis and philanthropists to donate generously for their calamity-hit brethren and sisters. He said that Punjab is facing worst flood of its history, lakhs of people have become shelter-less and it is the time to help them in this moment of trial.
