The major rescue operations are being conducted in Multan; Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan on Monday. According to the details, Rescue 1122 Jhang Emergency Services have rescued 30011; Rescue 1122 Khanewal evacuated 3557, Rescue 1122 Multan rescued 12811 and Muzaffargarh Emergency Services have rescued 5635 flood affectees so far. DG Rescue Punjab Dr. Rizwan Naseer said that major rescue operations were conducted at Moza Luk Wala, Shreen Wala, Jalaabad, Qasim Bela, Shujaabad, Sher Shah Multan and Khan Pur Qazi in Multan District; Head Muhammadwala, Mauza Jarh, Rangpur, Thatta Qureshi, Mochiwali Dyke and Ashiq Chowk areas of Muzaffargarh, Qatalpur, Chowki Haraj, Gaghara Qulandar and Fazal Shah in Khanewal, whereas major operations were conducted at Joia Mauza Balian Sargodha Road; Garh Maharaja, 18-Hazari, Rodu Sultan, Haveli Bahadur, Jhang City Dyke Sargodha Road and other areas of Jhang District.

The Head of Disaster Response Force Dr. Farhan Khalid said that DG Rescue Punjab visited different areas of Multan and Muzaffargarh on Monday, where he was briefed about coordinated and comprehensive search and rescue operations of Water Rescue Teams of Rescue 1122. According to the Provincial Monitoring Cell, Rescue Teams have evacuated 5721 flood affectees from Mandi Bahauddin; 5205 from Hafizabad, 2521 from Chiniot, 2084 from Sargodha, 1939 from Sialkot, 1749 from Narowal and 757 from Nankana Saheb and others so far. The PMC said that Disaster Response Force headed by Dr. Farhan Khalid and Mian Mohammad Ahsan has been deputed in Multan where the Force is assisting Emergency Services Multan and Muzaffargarh to evacuate the flood victims.
