AVLS claim to bust car lifters after being lashed by CCPO Lahore

Lahore: Just after 24 hours of being lamented by the CCPO Lahore on poor performance,AVLS police have claimed to bust the a gang of car thieves including their ring leader and recovered 10 stolen cars.

According to the details, A day before CCPO Lahore Capt.Muhammad Ameen presided over a meeting of Anti Vehicle Lifting Staff and expressed his displeasure on the performance of the  department and said he won’t bear inefficient and corrupt officers and officials in AVLS and strict action would be taken without caring their position and designation.

SSP investigation Abdul Rabb Ch,SP CRO Omar Riaz Cheema and all the DSPs and incharge of AVLS attended the meeting.

The CCPO said car and bikes lifting crimes is day by day rising in the city,people are worried over their losses but no one is there to share their grief.SP CRO to send him practical proposals till Monday and improve the performance of the AVLS squads otherwise he would have to take action.
