Malik Nadeem Kamran dispatched 15 trucks of edibles for Jhang in Faisalabad

Minister Zakat Lahore: Provincial Minister for Zakat & Usher Malik Nadeem Kamran has said that government is utilizing all available resources for the assistance of flood affectees. He said that government equally shares the grief of affected families and will not leave them alone in this hour of distress. He said that due to serious flood situation in Jhang, it has been decided to send food items on emergent basis and in the first phase, 11 trucks of eatable items and four trucks of medicines have been sent.

He disclosed this while talking to media-men on the occasion of dispatching 15 trucks of edibles for Jhang in Faisalabad today. Assembly members and DCO Faisalabad Noor-ul-Amin Mengal were also present on the occasion. Provincial Minister said that on the special instructions of Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, administrative machinery of the province is fully active for rehabilitation and providing relief to affectees.

Malik Nadeem Kamran said that philanthropists of Faisalabad have always supported government in hour of trial and this time also, they will spare no effort in this regard. Provincial Minister said that 20-bed mobile hospital comprising doctors and paramedical staff has already been sent to Jhang which is providing treatment facilities to flood affectees. He said that family packets consisting of flour, sugar, rice, tea bags, mineral water and other eatables have been prepared so that these could be distributed among affectees easily.

DCO Faisalabad Noor-ul-Amin Mengal informed that collection centers have been set up for the relief of flood affectees where essential items are being collected and well-to-do people of Faisalabad are taking active part in this regard.
