PTI gives sit in outside governor house

Lahore: Dr. Yasmin Rashid General Secretary Punjab addressing the protesters in front of Governor House in Lahore she said that in General elections vote was casted for someone and won by another, Vote was cast for “change” but vote ends up being changed. She said that in every successful democracy of the world, it is a precedent for times now and ahead, that a person under investigation leaves his position and if proven guilty, they must leave their position for good. She told the example quoted by Chairman Imran Khan that Andrew Michele, a minister of David Cameroon comes under fire for racist remarks against a police officer. The police officer files a report against him. He left his post for 3 months and trial is run against him and returns to his post only when he is proven not guilty. She said that 11:30 on the clock on 11th of may 2013, Nawaz Sharif declared himself as the winner in the General Elections, she said that In a match, if the result is known before hand, then the match is fixed, not legitimate. She said that PTI demands Mian sahab to resign because how is it possible that Mian Sahab is the premier of the country and an investigation could be carried out against him. How can you ensure impartiality and free investigation? 

Andleeb Abbas Secretary Information Punjab severely condemned the police crack down against the PTI workers in Lahore. She said that PML-N with the help of Punjab police is arresting innocent people and PTI workers in Lahore to stop them to join the protest in Lahore. She said that after all PML-N terror tactics and usage of Govermnet machinery to stop the workers to come out PTI workers have come out in a large number on the streets and that is visible in the protest outside the governor house in Lahore.

We are standing firm with our decision and we will not leave our place with Nawaz resignation. Street power is with Khan and we don’t let the hooligans of PMLN to stell our mandate, she added. Later she said that we dont beleive in Gullu Butt style of Politics.

She said that PTI will continue protest in all cities of Punjab and Pakistan until the PM resigns.
