Sardar Atiq calls on former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain

Lahore: Former Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir Sardar Atiq along with a delegation called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi at their residence.

All Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Conference delegation included Raja Muhammad Yaseen Khan, Sardar Abdul Razzaq, Sardar Saghir Chughtai, Haji Muhammad Aziz Khan, Sardar Babar advocate and Asim Abbasi. During the meeting Senator Kamil Ali Agha, MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, Ch Zaheeruddin Khan and Dr Azeemuddin Lakhvi were also present. Ch Shujat Hussain thanked the delegation.

Dilating on the prevailing political situation in the country, Ch Parvez Elahi said that whatever was happening in Islamabad was unparalleled, ruthless use of tear gas chemical weapons, rifle bullets and 12 bore on protectors who were protesting peacefully for last 17 days was inefficiency of the govt, Inqilab March had achieved its objective, Nawaz Sharif should better resign instead of shedding blood of more innocents, his resignation was the only solution of the present crisis, straight bullets were being fired on elders, women and children whereas the injured and dead bodies were also being whisked away from hospitals to unknown place, the govt should refrain from its low tactics, this sea of human beings will get rid of the govt oppression and achieve freedom.
