A report on the Saturday night violence presented to PM Nawaz Sharif

Lahore: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is chairing a high level meeting to discuss current situation in the country especially in Islamabad.Federal ministers including Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan ,Khawaja Saad Rafiq ,Abdul Qadir Baloch are attending the meeting.

According to Radio Pakistan,a report on the last night violence was also presented in the meeting.The meeting will decide future course of action to defuse the crisis and normalise situation.

Earlier, Prime Minister Office has lauded the role of media and directed to investigate the acts of violence against journalists.

A spokesman of PM Office said the responsible will be held accountable. He said such incidents are individual acts which are condemnable.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrives Islamabad from Lahore considering the ongoing violence on the Constitution Avenue. He was supposed to arrive in Islamabad tomorrow.
