CEES organizes a seminar on “Global Environmental Industry

Lahore: Punjab University College of Earth and Environmental Sciences (CEES) organized a seminar on “Global Environmental Industry (Zero Waste Initiatives and Sustainability). The participants from CEES and other departments attended the seminar. Mr. Tauseef Waraich from TRI Environmental Consulting Inc. British Columbia, Canada was the key speaker.

Mr. Tauseef’s lecture was mainly focused on current budget perspective of Environmental Market at global scale. He highlighted job opportunities in Canada and Pakistan based on sectors like waste management, wastewater treatment, consulting, remediation, energy, monitoring and instrumentation and clean technologies.

He appreciated the way CEES is heading towards its research and academic objectives with addressing diverse array of specializations in multi-disciplinary field of Environmental Sciences.

At the end, Prof. Dr. Firdaus-e-Bareen, Principal CEES concluded the seminar with her remarks that how the college could work in collaboration with overseas talented Pakistanis like Mr. Tauseef for launching collaborative work in the near future.
