Talat Hussain is being threatened for ‘physical beating

Lahore: Eminent anchor person Talat Hussain has tweeted that he is being threatened  ‘physical beating and all’ from +923460365824. +923407023383. Newest threat-message promises to do my accountability in a “Talibaan-like fashion” Talat Hussain said.

He said that putting this on record as the messages continue unabated, ranging from abuse to life threats.The reason cited in threats is my analysis of the situation and Pti’s policy,he added.

Journalist community and civil society condemned this cowardly act and demanded the govt to take these threats seriously.

They have the view that difference of opinion & even single targeted criticism on personal hurt is understandable, but physical threats are unfair.FIA should immediately trace out these numbers and bring the culprits to justice.
