DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf introduces new criteria for the posting of SHO

Lahore: On the direction of CCPO Lahore Captain (R) Muhammad Ameen Wains, DIG Operations Dr Haider Ashraf has changed the criteria of SHO’s posting. According to the new criteria, posting of SHO shall be finalized after looking at his ability, past repute, performance & concerned SP’s recommendation. DIG/Ops Dr Haider Ashraf has made a three members committee for the posting of SHO, consisting of SP Headquarter, SP security & concerned SP who shall present report to DIG/Ops after analyzing the past repute & performance of the SHO on which posting of the SHO shall be done.

On this occasion DIG/Ops Dr Haider Ashraf said that these measures are taken on the direction of CCPO Lahore so that transparency in system & concerned SP’s interest may be ensured. He said that incompetent & bad reputed officer shall not be posted at SHO & performance of the SHO shall be monitored on the monthly basses. SP’s, DSP’s & SHO’s should take fully interest to curb the crime in their areas. Strict action shall be taken against the SHO if corruption & misconduct found.

DIG/Ops Dr Haider Ashraf has directed all the divisional SP’s to hold meetings with DSP’s & SHO’s on monthly basses & said that control the crime should be the prime duty of a police officer.

CCPO Lahore Captain(R) Muhammad Ameen Wains & DIG/Ops Dr Haider Ashraf shall also monitor the performance of all police officers on monthly basses & the police officer with good performance shall be highly appreciated.
