Lahore: Hosts and the reigning World Cup champions Australia takes up on Pakistan in the first ODI of the ICC Women’s Championship ODI series which was conducted at Brisbane on August 21.
Both the teams have sufficiently talented players who seem to be in complete form and determined to score good runs.
Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. The National team was all out for 157 runs. Bismah Maroof, who currently is one of the best players in the world, was the top scorer with a handsome 53 whereas Nida Dar scored 40 runs.
Chasing the target, host team, Australia has scored 137 runs on the loss of 5 wickets. Lanning and Alex scored 18 runs each, Alyssa Healy got out on 6 runs only whereas Nicole Bolton went back to the pavilion scoring 43 runs.
Sana Mir took 2 whereas Sadia Yousaf and Bismah Maroof took 1 wicket each.
The chances and potential of this match can be huge as the national team is facing the Australia in the series for the first time.
