Usman Anwar congratulates the nation at the 66th Independence Day

Lahore: Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar has congratulated the nation at the 66th Independence Day of Pakistan and said that living nations celebrate their day of independence in a befitting manner.

In his message, Usman Anwar paid rich tributes to the founders of the county.He urged the Pakistani nation to celebrate this historic day in an enthusiastic manner. He asked all the communities to demonstrate great level of discipline, unity and solidarity during the Independence Day celebrations.

“The creation of Pakistan is the result of supreme sacrifices and a historic struggle by millions of Muslims and August 14th brings a message of happiness to the people of the Director General Sports Punjab Usman Anwar said that the historic day of 14th August reminds us about the remarkable sacrifices rendered by our elders, under the dynamic and courageous leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, to achieve an independent and sovereign state.

“The great day of Independence Day demands from us to rise above our personal interests and make collective efforts for achieving the true objectives of establishment of Pakistan,” he further said. He said that, on the happy occasion of Independence Day, we should promise to continue the sequence of great sporting efforts for the glory of Pakistan. “We must utilize all our energies to achieve progress, prosperity and solidarity of our beloved country,” he stressed.
