Murree: Provincial Minister for Labour and Manpower, Raja Ashfaq Sarwar has said that there is no justification of long march by Imran Khan after constitution of commission comprising judges of Supreme Court by Prime Minister. He said that protest politics and violent revolution of Allama Tahir-ul-Qadri can push the country towards anarchy and lawlessness.
He expressed these views while addressing the participants of a public meeting at GPO Murree Chowk today. MNA Malik Ibrar Ahmed, Raja Hanif Advocate MPA, Sardar Naseem, President Muslim League-N Murree Dafter Abbasi and General Secretary Haq Nawaz Abbasi also spoke on the occasion.
A large number of people and office-bearers as well workers of Muslim League-N Murree including Hafiz Usman Abbasi, Raja Muhammad Ayyaz and Raja Habib were also present on the occasion.
Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said that politics of Imran Khan and Qadri is aimed at creating hurdles in the process of economic rehabilitation and development projects started by Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. He said that at a time when the nation is fighting a war against terrorism and jawans of armed forces are engaged in operation for the elimination of these terrorists, to talk of long march and revolution can cause loss to the unity of the country. He said that PNL-N believes in the politics within the limits of constitution and decency.
Malik Ibrar MNA warned those threatening Prime Minister and his family members and said that PML-N workers will protect the lives of their leaders. He said that stubbornness of long march by Imran Khan and threats of violence and murder by Qadri have endangered the stability of the country. Sardar Naseem and Raja Hanif Advocate said that patriotic people of the country will never become a part to undemocratic activities.
