Ch Brothers welcome togetherness of Inqilab March and Azadi March

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain and senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi have said that togetherness of the Inqilab March and Azadi March reflected the sentiments of the people.

They declared for changing the lot of the poor and common man and brighter future of their children we would continue our struggle for destination of revolution, our destination and intention was right and as such Almighty Allah will also help us, those who have made the life of the people miserable will have to pay for their doings, evil face of democracy of Sharif family has been exposed, today they were detaining people tomorrow they would be detained by the people.

They said while addressing big gathering of thousands of leaders and workers at their residence here this afternoon prior to proceeding to Model Town for participation in Youm-e-Shuhda under auspices of Pakistan Awami Tehrik for paying homage to the martyrs of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and Model Town tragedy.

All attempts were made to stop caravan of hundreds of cars and motor cycles under the leadership of Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi from going to Minhajul Quran and at last their way was blocked at a distance of three kilometers. However, despite workers enthusiasm due to their discipline and leaders intervention, no unpleasant situation was created and thousands participants of the caravan was allowed to go on foot to the pandal and they reached there chanting slogans to participate in the Youm-e-Shuhda.

Ch Shujat Hussain that after the speech of the Israeli Prime Minister why the whole world including the Prime Minister of Pakistan was keeping silent, the Israeli PM had said kill women and children of Palestine as this was their objective and still the whole world was silent. He said if Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri join hands then the decision may be taken on August 13 and there would be no need for going to Islamabad.

Ch Parvez Elahi asked what sort of this democracy was about which they were talking so loudly in which the people had been deprived of their fundamental rights and facilities, despite false announcement of removing the obstacles containers were still there on every road and way, shortage of food items and other essential items had been created all over Punjab including Lahore, the entire province has been turned into jail, how long they could do like this?, how many more people Shahbaz Sharif would kill, his govt would end but the people would not end.

Ch Parvez Elahi that despite written letters of the federal and provincial governments that there threats to us and our family members, they had withdrawn our security, if God -forbid any harm comes to us then Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif would be responsible, we were not afraid of such cowardly actions of the govt as we had been through such circumstances many times previously. He reiterated that if Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri undertake long march together then such a situation would not arise, govt excesses were becoming part of history, Shahbaz Sharif would have to account for all this tomorrow, when Nawaz Sharif had undertaken long march he was asking the police not to obey illegal orders and had kissed the forehead of a police official who had removed his belt, we are also ready to kiss the forehead of the police but they have to provide this opportunity themselves, administration and police officials should better listen the voices of their children and do not kill the innocents on the orders of civil dictators.

In his address at Minhajul Quran, Ch Parvez Elahi further said that such large number of people had gathered to pay homage to the brave and courageous officers and jawans of Pak army who had laid their lives in Waziristan and those martyred in Model Town for revolution, democracy and change of the system. He said like sacred blood of Pak army was the guarantee for the security and protection of this country, the blood of shuhda of Model Town tragedy was announcing changing of the system, he was Chief Minister for five years and had provided facilities for making the police best force but they were using the police for personal objectives. He said that if we move out together then the administration would run away, Sharif brothers would run, we were not disappointed, they may kill as many men as they want, they would have to go ultimately. He said on the basis of his long political experience he could say their days had been numbered as the blood of shuhda would not go in vain.

Ch Shujat Hussain and Ch Parvez Elahi on this occasion were accompanied by Kamil Ali Agha, Tariq Bashir Cheema, Muhammad Basharat Raja, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin Khan, Sardar Asif Nakai, Sardar Talib Nakai, Vickas Hussain Moakal, Haleem Adil Shaikh, Ahmed Yar Hiraj, Dr. Azeemuddin Lakhvi, Agha Rafi Ullah Syed, Chaudhry Zulfiqar Pappan, Mian Munir, Abid Jotana, Mian Abdul Sattar, Seemal Kamran, Amna Ulfat, Samina Khawar Hayat and Syed Majida Zaida among large number of party leaders and workers.
