Shahbaz Sharif to tell media how many people he wants to kill? Ch Pervaiz Elahi

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain, senior central leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Ch Parvez Elahi and Awami Muslim League President Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad have said how many people the civil dictators would kill, why the judiciary was silent, notice should be taken on the trampling of the fundamental rights given in the Constitution.

They said this while talking to media at their residence and after meeting with Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) leader Dr Tahir ul Qadri here today. While going to meet Dr Tahir ul Qadri, Ch Parvez Elahi, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad and other leaders caravan was forcibly stopped by the police at containers check post near Murrian Chowk, after discussion for about half an hour, they were allowed to go onward on foot, they reached the residence of Dr Tahir ul Qadri covering two kilometers distance on foot. Besides Ch Parvez Elahi and Sheikh Rasheed Rasheed Ahmad, these leaders also included Haleem Adil Shaikh, Muhammad Basharat Raja, Ahmad Yar Hiraj, Dr Azeemuddin Lakhvi and other PML leaders.

Ch Shujat Hussain said that we would succeed in our objective ahead of August 14, what the govt wanted to prove by shooting at unarmed workers, even women were not being spared, we have not given up patience, we were trying that Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri should run the movement together.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that the media would have to play its positive role, Punjab had been sealed and people made hostage, even ambulances were not being provided petrol, food items and other articles of necessity were gradually finishing. He said the civil dictator rulers should tell through the media as how many they wanted to kill, we have received the reports that Shahbaz Sharif has said that even if more than 100 per cent people than Model Town tragedy had to be killed, they should do that.

He said roads, petrol pumps, food items supply all were shut, people including women were being brutally beaten up on the roads, jails were being thronged, there no example of such oppression, brutality and violence in Punjab, it seemed as if unannounced curfew had been imposed, allow anyone to go you like and confine the people in their houses if like, what sort of democracy this was, Model Town has been turned into sub-jail through use of force.

Ch Parvez Elahi said emphatically that we all were on road and wanted to put all on the board, the govt had fatigued but the people would not.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said it was not the National Security Council meeting but photo session of Nawaz Sharif’s own security council like Bhutto had held meeting with the army generals in 1977, but he (Nawaz Sharif) also would not gain any benefit, you know the fate of unilateral conference in which the Tehrik and Punjab were not represented.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said he wanted to make clear from Imran Khan’s side that there was no talk about 10 seats with Maulana Sirajul Haq, whosoever had enforced Article 245 it had not benefitted him, judiciary should take sou moto notice, the rulers wanted to separate Imran Khan and Dr Tahir ul Qadri adding that Dr Tahir ul Qadri was respect of the nation and Imran Khan was the name of national sentiments and love, whosoever of them would be stepped back would be political and national traitor, we want that both should move onward the same day.
