Lahore: Due to torture by workers of Awami Tehrik, a constable was martyred, 19 police officials were injured in the clash while the workers set police station Quaidabad on fire.
DCO Sargodha Saqib Mannan informed that 20 police officials were injured due to clash between workers of Awami Tehrik and police at Bhera Interchange Motorway today.
The injured police officials were immediately shifted to the hospitals of Sargodha, Bhalwal and Bhera. A seriously injured official of Elite Force Fayyaz succumbed to injuries and martyred. The martyred Fayyaz was 38 years old and he has three children.
The DCO told that 2000 workers of Awami Tehrik from Bhakkar entered district Khushab from Bhakkar to leave for Lahore who set on fire police station Quaidabad.
