No central leader of PML-N attends the first reference in the memory of the Late Dr Majeed Nizami

Hafiz Salman Butt,Naeem Hussain Chattha,Ehsan WayneLahore: The after affects have been come on the surface of the changing  Nawa-i-Waqt editorial policy that was more visible and being minutely observed by PML-N when no central leader of the ruling party attended the reference in the memory of the Late Dr Majeed Nizami.

Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif who remained there at Majeed Nizami residence from his funeral toJustice Javaid Iqbal burial but the next day The Nation Javaid Hasmi,SM Zafarpublished a cartoon against PML-N government even then Punjab Government sent Iftari for all the people who came at Nizami house for condolence and prayer for the late’s soul on his rasm-e -Qul.

On the day of reference,Nawa-i-Waqt published a front page story against Mian Shahbaz Sharif ‘s govt that barred central leadership of the party to attend their undeclared pattern-in-Chief and closest friend’s reference held at NPT building. Professor Dr. Rafique Ahmad, Ch. Naeem Husain Chattha, Justice(r) Aftab Farrukh, Makhdum Javed Hashmi, Senator Dr. Jahangir Badar, Ghulam Dastgir Khan, Justice(r) Javed Iqbal, Hafiz Salman Butt, Senator Prof. Jamil Ahmad, S.M. Zafar, Ehsan Wyne, Dr. Iftikhar Hussain Bukhari and Col(r) Jamshed Ahmad Tareen were the people who reached at Aiwan-i-Karkunaan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan for pay homage to Dr. Majid Nizami.

The  speakers said Pakistan Movement veteran, senior journalist and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Chairman Dr. MJahangir Badr,Proffesor Sajid Mirajeed Nizami enacted his motto “Speak out before the oppressive ruler” in his real life with amazing resilience and perseverance. His commitment to the welfare and well-being of the Pakistan Movement Workers was unshakable. He professed great love, admiration and veneration for the Quaid-i-Azam, Allama Muhammad Iqbal and the Madar-i-Millat and wanted the upcoming generations to recognise  the marvelous services rendered by these geniuses.

The mission of his life was to disseminate the ideas and thoughts of the Quaid-i-Azam and Allama Muhammad Iqbal among the youth, so that a new Pakistan might emerge exactly corresponding to the vision of its founding fathers.
