PU awards 8 PhD degrees

Lahore: Punjab University has awarded 4 PhD degrees to the scholars in which Muhammad Awais S/o Muhammad Yasin in the subject of Islamic Studies after approval of his thesis entitled “Impact of Homonyms on Quranic Interpretation – An Analytical Study”, Mehr Un Nisa D/o Ghulam Muhammad Baig in the subject of Chemistry after approval of her thesis entitled “Preparation of Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors with Potential Antidepressant Activity”,Sidra Rehman D/o Abdul Rehman in the subject of Molecular Biology after approval of her thesis entitled “Bioassay Guided Screening and Purification of Indigenous Plants against HCV NS3 Protease” and Raazia Tasadduq D/o Tasadduq Hussainin the subject of Biological Sciences after approval of her thesis entitled “Osteogenic Potential of Herb, Cissus Quadrangularis: Effect of Ethanlic Extract on Differential of Mouse Pre-Osteoblast Cell Line, MC 3T3-E 1”.
