Lahore: Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has visited Mazar e Iqbal along with parliamentarians today and laid floral wreaths on Mazar-e-Iqbal and offered fateha. He also prayed for the development,prosperity and peace in the country.
At the occasion,a special flag hoisting ceremony was held at historical Hazoori Bagh in Lahore today to launch the month-long Independence Day celebrations in a befitting manner.
Khawaja Saad Rafique talked to media during heavy rain and said we do not have any fear of revolution or Azadi march.Issues can’t be resolved through protests and sit-ins,Those who want to destabilize the democracy ,would not get anything . Imran Khan can talk to Taliban but not ready to talk to the government .Are worst than the Taliban,he questioned the PTI’s chairman.
He said those involved in politics of hatred would not succeed and issues must be resolved through talks.The country is passing through a critical phase and more problems should not be created,he added.
Saad Rafique said, we would try to handle long march issue by involving political fraternity. He said doors of talks in politics always remained open and there is nothing inappropriate in holding talks for the betterment of the country.
