Lahore: Advisor to Chief Minister Punjab on Health Khawaja Salman Rafique visited Miani Sahib Graveyard on Eid day and checked the cleanliness arrangements in connection with dengue surveillance. He directed administration to make proper arrangements for draining out rainy water accumulated in graveyard to check the breeding of dengue. Parliamentary Secretary Health Khawaja Imran Nazir, Member Provincial Assembly Chaudhry Shahbaz, Director General Health Dr. Zahid Pervaiz, EDO Health Lahore Dr. Zulfiqar Ali and officers of district government were also present on this occasion.
Meanwhile, Kh. Salman Rafique along with his younger son Ghufran Rafique visited Jinnah Hospital on Eid day and inquired after Tabasam Shahzad whose hands were cut off. Ghufran Rafique presented sweet and Eid gift to Tabasam Shahzad.
Kh. Salman Rafique on receiving the information about blast of gas cylinder in Laliyani on Eid day immediately reached to Jinnah Hospital and supervised the treatment facilities being provided to the injured persons. Kh. Salman Rafique called for Prof. Moazam Tarar and other senior doctors for providing treatment to the injured persons. He also managed to shift two seriously injured persons to the burn unit of Mayo Hospital.
