Lahore:Authorities have barred non resident of the Murree to enter in the Punjab’s most attractive and developed hill station on Eid due to overcrowd. Murree is considered as more secure tourists place than any other place that’s why tourists from all over Pakistan love to visit this hill station. This decision was made due to unprecedented traffic mess.
Thousands of people left for Murree on Eid days but on the second day there was no place left even on the roads for cars to move.Hundreds of people stuck in their vehicles for hours but could not move towards their destination for a few yards too. Around 300 traffic wardens were moved to murree from Rawalpindi to control the situation but till midnight they could not succeeded t o move on the traffic.
Due to worst traffic mess,the authorities decided to ban the entry of the non residents of the Murree and all the tourists were being sent back from the toll plaza.Traffic Police said that till today afternoon only residents and emergency services vehicles would be allowed to cross the toll plaza.
