Lahore : Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust organized a special sitting at the Aiwan-i-Kakrkunan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan on “The Pakistan Day” and resolved to keep the ideology of Pakistan fresh and alive in the minds of the upcoming generations because the survival of Pakistan depended upon the ideology of Pakistan.
The demise of the veteran journalist and Chairman Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Dr. Majid Nizami coincided with “The Pakistan Day”. The speakers addressing the sitting included Col.(r) Amjad Hussain Sayyed, Pir Syed Muhammad Kabir Ali Shah Sajjada Nashin Choora Sharif, Col (r) Jamshed Ahmed Tarin, Dr. Ajmal Niazi, Ms. Sameeha Raheel Qazi, Allama Ahmad Ali Qasoori, Justice (r) Aftab Farrukh, Prof. Dr. Parveen Khan, Begum Mehnaz Rafi and Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust Secretary Shahid Rasheed.
Addressing the sitting, Dr. Majeed Nizami’s friends and companions expressed their grief and sorrow at his sad demise and observed that the mission symbolized by his personality will be forwarded by the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust’s unique team.
Col. (r) Amjad Hussain Sayyed observed that Majid Nizami was a photocopy of his elder brother Hameed Nizami. The latter was the founder of the “Nawa-i-Waqt” whereas the former was its builder.
Col. (r) Jamshed Ahmed Tarin observed that the deceased had an unshakable commitment to the Quaid-i-Azam, Allama Muhammad Iqbal and the Kashmir issue.
Justice (r) Aftab Farrukh remarked that the deceased and he had been friends for 62 years.
Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust’s Chief Coordinator Mian Farooq Altaf observed that he had never seen a more patriotic person than the deceased in his life.
Dr. Ajmal Niazi observed that the deceased should have been given an official burial at a prominent place.
Ms. Sameeha Raheel Qazi observed that she felt as if her father Agha Jan (Qazi Hussain Ahmed) had died for second time.
