Lahore: Advisor to CM on Health, Kh. Salman Rafiq has said that it is also a form of worship to include poor and deserving persons in the joys of Ramzan and Eid. He said that the persons who help the ailing humanity are the loved persons of Allah Almighty.
He said this while addressing the ceremony arranged by Anjuman-e-Behbood-e-Mareezan at Lahore General Hospital to distribute new clothes and eid gifts among under-treatment patients. Principal PGMI Prof. Anjum Habib Vohra, Prof. Agha Shabbir Ali, MS Dr. Pervez Imtiaz besides office bearers of Anjuman-e-Bahbood-e-Mreezan Haji Muhammad Yousuf, Malik Muhammad Aslam, Malik Aleem, Mrs. Rahat Shaukat, Saira Rehman, Yasir Ejaz and Dr. Junaid Mirza were also present on the occasion.
Kh. Salman Rafiq and Prof. Dr. Anjum Habib Vohra while talking to media, said that it is our responsibility to include poor patients in the joys of eid. Representatives of Anjuman-e-Behbood-e-Mareezan said that poor and hapless persons also have equal right over the blessings, Allah Almighty bestowed upon us and we should play our due role honestly in this regard.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Pervez Imtiaz said that with the cooperation of philanthropists, the hospital administration is discharging its responsibilities of treatment of patients diligently. He said that we all should play our due role to support poor and hapless patients in the holy month of Ramzan.
