Governments 15 day celebration to stop the Azadi March of PTI:MNA Shafqat Mehmood

Lahore: PTI General Secretary Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid said that govt had really become afraid of PTI 14 August march and is now making another drama of 15 day celebration in order to ensure that PTI’s long march does not reach d-chowk. She said that they were afraid of our arch because their own performance and anti people actions had made them extremely non-popular party.

While addressing a press conference , She said it was shameful that the Punjab government had neglected the health area to the extent that Lahore had been declared as the most dangerous polio virus affected city in Pakistan. She said 9th out of 11th tensed positive which also includes Nawaz Sharif own constituency areas. She said that this revealed the truth that directorate of health Punjab had written false reports about Lahore being polio free and thus the cm should hold an enquiry and fire the whole directorate. She said that all that district hospitals on which the government had promised that they would be upgrading them especially in Gujranwala, Sialkot were not upgraded while this was the 7^th year of this government’s promise. She was the worth mother child health care indicators were present in Punjab which proves that health was not government priority. She said that if the Chief Minister could make the Azadi Chowk in 165 days he could not even upgrade three teaching hospitals in 3000 days and that showed the showoff mindset of Shahbaz Sharif.

PTI Information Secretary Punjab Andleeb Abbas said that the governments had been totally exposed as the city and the province was undergoing the worst load shedding in six years. She said all the government claims that load shedding will be less as government had installed mega projects including Nandi Pur had proven false she said that the all the 90 mega watts be added to the system government said was totally wrong and not a single mega watt had been added in the last one year according to the Pepco report. The government had also lied about the growth rate which according to the IMF letter of intent sent by the government was only 3.3%. The sad thing was the government said that it was typing error. She said that this was the Dhandli government and Dhandli typos and thus Azadi March is in protest of making the public lived miserable in every area.

PTI MNA Shafqat Mehmood said that the governments 15 day celebration of 14 August was a clear indication of their loss of sanity as never before has the government celebrated 14 august beyond a flag hosting ceremony. This was a deliberated to stop the Azadi March of PTI and he also said that government intend to bring the electoral reforms was completely wrong and as in the committee in the parliament refused to discuss the rigging and corruption in the last election and said that it will only discuss the future reforms. He said how is it possible to make future reform without analyzing and punishing and people for the last electoral fraud. He promised on the 14^th of august the whole of Pakistan will come out in the favor of real democracy and independence.
