Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif returned Lahore today night after his visit to China. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that his visit to China remained successful in all respects.
He said that useful dialogue was held and important progress made with Chinese authorities on cooperation in energy, infrastructure and other sectors. He said that Pak-China friendship is strengthening with the passage of time.
The Chief Minister said that the energy projects being completed with the cooperation of China will help overcome load-shedding. He said that with the elimination of energy crisis, exports will increase and new job opportunities will be created.
Shahbaz Sharif said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Pak-China friendship has entered into a new era. He said that during his recent visit to China, projects of energy and economic corridor were discussed. He said that our delegation was accorded a warm welcome in China. He said that Orange Line Metro Train project will be a glorious example of Pak-China friendship.
