Ministers visit to Ramzan Bazars could not make things cheaper

Minister Women Development 2Lahore: Provincial Ministers visited various Ramazan Bazaars in different cities and inspected supply, quality and rates of edible items in the bazaars. District administrations have been activated for the provision of quality daily use items to the masses at affordable rates while Minister Mineral 2provincial ministers and advisors have been assigned the duties of monitoring.

Provincial Minister for Minerals, Ch. Sher Ali visited Sastay Ramazan Bazaars at Narowal. He inspected prices of daily use commodities at stalls of Livestock, Agriculture, Health and Food departments. He also Special Assistant Malik Saleem MNA Waheed Alam (1)checked quality and weight of sugar and flour and expressed his satisfaction.

Provincial Minister for Women Development, Mohtarma Waheed ud Din visited Ramazan Bazaars in district Jhang and inspected stalls of vegetables, fruits, flour, ghee, sugar, pulses and other necessary items set up at Tehsil Road Jhang Saddar and Bashir Chowk Satellite Town. She also checked the quality and weight of the edible items and reviewed their prices in Ramazan Bazaars as compared to open market. Later, the Minister also visited Ramazan Bazaars set up at Tehsil Gojra Post Office Road, Moongi Banglah and Model Bazaar Toba Tek Singh and issued instructions to maintain stock register of every stall in a better manner.

Provincial Minister for Cooperatives Malik Muhammad Iqbal Channar visited Ramazan Bazaars in Mailsi, Vehari and Burewala and directed to provide dates of good quality and other daily use items on subsidized rates. Provincial Minister for Agriculture Dr. Farrukh Javed visited Bhalwal, Kot Momin, Sargodha and Khushab Ramazan bazaars and talked the consumers, listened their problems and personally reviewed the quality and prices of the edibles.Minister Labour

Special Assistant to CM Malik Saleem Iqbal paid surprise visit to Barkat Market, Model Town and Makkah Colony Ramazan Bazaars and expressed serious anguish over market committee and administration for accumulation of rainy water.

Member National Assembly and Chairman Dengue Control Committee Nishtar Town Waheed Alam Khan while visiting Ramazan Bazaar Township said that Punjab government gave historic package of Rs.5 billion for provision of edibles on cheaper rates to the masses under which 10kg atta bag is being sold at Rs.310 and one crore forty lakh atta bags have been supplied. He said in Ramazan Bazaars sugar is being sold at Rs.45 per kg while ghee is Rs.10 per kg cheaper and eggs per dozen are being sold at Rs.12 less than the market rates.
