Ch Pervaiz Elahi demands Nawaz ,Shahbaz resignations

Lahore: Former deputy prime minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi demanded the resignations of PM Nawaz Sharif and CM Shahbaz Sharif .While addressing a press conference at his residence alongwith Ch Zaheer ud Din,Kamil Ali Agha,Ahmad Yar Hiraj,Muhammad Shah Ghaga and Alamgir Advocate,Ch Pervaiz Elahi said all the political parties have unanimous opinion that both the brothers were responsible for model town incident and they should resigned for ensuring justice as until they are enjoying power no commission will declare them guilty.

Ch Pervaiz Elahi said Allama Dr Tahir ul Qadri will arrive at Islamabad Airport on Monday morning at 7AM, PML-Q will give him historical welcomed reception.He directed city and divisional presidents and secretary generals to reach Islamabad Airport with party workers .If police pressurized the transporters or they will not allow them to go to Islamabad,they make the movies of the scenes,he added.

Former CM Punjab asked the police officials and the administration not to obey the illegal orders of the rulers,if they do,PML-Q will register FIR’s against everyone from CM to DSP’s.

Ch Parvez Elahi said we had demanded resignation of Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif who kept ordering “teach them lesson”, now crime has been confessed but putting own responsibility on others would not do justice, resignations of the subordinates were not enough. He said who would be witness against the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif should have courage and tender their resignations along with their ministers and then join the investigation process, blood of the workers was on the heads of Nawaz Sharif and Nawaz Sharif, they have also to account for 12 bodies which they have put into collective grave whereas number of injured and missing persons was about 150 search for whom was in progress.

He said the way the rulers had used the police to eliminate some criminals and opponents in fake police encounters and for “qabza”, the Chief Minister could not face the police on this, he had said earlier and was saying this again today that blood of the martyrs of Model Town tragedy had also been included in this movement now this movement was not going to stop, the Chief Minister should not use the powers of the court “kill him, leave him ” and challenged that anyone should pinpoint any fake police encounter during his five years tenure, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have plated blood holi in Lahore, they have not realized even after killing so many persons, what sort of advisors and colleagues they have. 37 years old son of a retired judge had been illegally appointed as the Advocate General and one who cut the tongue of former President of Pakistan was working as the Secretary Prosecution Service whereas new IG had also been appointed under a deal.

In reply to a question, he said that Shahbaz Sharif himself had made mockery of the judicial commission, FIR was registered and Hussain Mohyuddin name entered even before investigation and then removed because he was in a plane at that time. On the resignation of Rana Sanaullah Khan and removal of Tauqir Shah he further said that process of those who played blood holi in Model Town had started, whole truth would surface when the rulers would tender their resignations.
