Lahore: Members Provincial Assembly Atif Mazari, Naeem Khan Bhabha, Hamad Nawaz Tipu and Kazam Ali has said that Punjab government has written a new history by allocating 36 percent share of development fund for South Punjab which will usher in new era of progress and prosperity in the region. Besides generation of vast opportunities of employment, modern facilities of health, education and transport will be available to the people, they added.
They expressed these views in a statement here today. The parliamentarians said that projects of Rs. 263 billion are being launched for removing backwardness of South Punjab and 119 billion rupees have been allocated for these projects in the next financial year. They said that with the completion of Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park Project darkness will be removed from South Punjab. They said that more than 1.5 lakh persons will daily benefit from international standard facilities of transport with the completion of metro bus project in Multan.
Members Provincial Assembly said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif by giving an excellent package has won the hearts of the people of South Punjab. They said that with the establishment of Punjab Public Service Commission offices and examination centers at Bahawalpur and DG Khan, the youth will not have to go to Lahore for jobs. All facilities will be available to the people of South Punjab at their door step, the members assembly concluded.
