Chaudhry Shujat Hussain meets Pir Sahib Golra Sharif Ghulam Moin-ul-haq Gilani

Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Chaudhry Shujat Hussain has said that revolution will come in months not in years, present democracy was a joke with the nation, first thing written in the constitution in the objective resolution was that participation of the people in politics was essential.

He said this while talking to media after meeting with Sajjada Nasheen Golra Sharif Pir Syed Ghulam Moin ul Haq Gilani here. MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema and Senior Vice President Punjab Muhammad Basharat Raja accompanied him on the occasion.

He said real democracy was that in which people were involved in power, present rulers by not holding local bodies elections were denying participation so the people in politics and power. He asked if a drain was giving problem in someone locality, will he go to the MNA to get it in order?

Chaudhry Shujat Hussain said further that we will not accept any decision which was in conflict with the constitution, every party will be invited to join the alliance. He said our and Dr Tahir ul Qadri revolutionary reforms consisted of 10 points agenda.

Expressing great concern over everyday increase in inflation, unemployment and lawlessness he said that it was the duty of the government to protect life and property of every Pakistani and provide him basic necessities, but the rulers were not fulfilling the responsibility of theirs.

Condemning terrorism in Karachi on a question, Chaudhry Shujat Hussain paid great tribute to the martyred who laid down their lives there and prayed for early recovery of the injured. He said he had already said there was no possibility of negotiations with the Talibaans being result oriented.
