Murree: The Annual Parents’ Day of the Pakistan Air Force Public School Lower Topa was held at Murree today. Air Marshal Athar Hussain Bukhari, Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The Chief Guest lauded the efforts of students and faculty members for producing exceptional results in curricular, co-curricular and extra curricular activities.
Earlier, the Principal of the School Air Vice Marshal (Retd) Syed Imtiaz Hyder presented annual report highlighting the significant achievements of the institute.
Later, the Chief Guest awarded prizes to the winners of different events. Amongst the key award winners, Imad Khan was awarded with Topian Tiger trophy (Best in Sports), while Kamal Azfar won the Topian Scholar trophy (Best in Academics). Nasr Kakakhel clinched the Topian Eagle trophy (For Overall Best Performance).
The Quaid-i-Azam shield for the best All Round Performance was awarded to Aurangzeb House, the Champion House for the year 2014.
Later, the students of the school presented an impressive Gymnastics and Martial Art display and a well-synchronized P.T show. The school also put up an attractive Aero modeling Display in which young boys manoeuvred radio-controlled aircraft models in the air. All the guests and parents applauded the young Topians for displaying such an impressive performance in all these fields.
PAF Public School Lower Topa is situated in the midst of pine laden mountains of Murree. The school inducts young boys of grade 8 and they study here till the completion of their FSc.
After graduating from this institution, these students either join PAF Academy, Risalpur, or complete their higher education from different universities and excel in various walks of life.
