We would remove the darkness of illiteracy: Rana Arshad

Lahore: Parliamentary Secretary Information and Culture Punjab Rana Muhammad Arshad has said that by following the vision of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif we would remove the darkness of illiteracy and poverty by spreading education in the province. Youth, not onlParlimani Secretaryy could secure respectable employment by getting technical education rather they can brighten the name of Pakistan in and abroad.

He expressed these views during a press conference in connection with the annual exams of Diploma of Associate Engineers (DAE) and D.Com commencing from June 05, 2014.

The Parliamentary Secretary said that 186749 candidates were appearing in the exams while 348 examination centers had been set up throughout Punjab, whereas, to crush away the “Booti Maafia” and keeping the examination system corruption-free, mobile teams had also been constituted comprising of the members of

Parliamentary secretaries, ministers, principals of government education institutions and senior educationists would ensure the strict monitoring of the examination centers.

Parliamentary Secretary said that strict checking up and doing away with any untoward situation, a control room had also been set up in the premises of Punjab Board of Technical Education office. District Managers from all districts had also been given a special task of strict monitoring of the examination.
