Imran Khan is lacking of sportsman spirit: Hamza Shahbaz

Lahore: Central leader of PML-N Hamza Shahbaz Sharif MNA has said that Imran Khan only talks about rigging in Punjab and does not mention KPK. He said that Imran Khan is lacking of sportsman spirit.

He expressed these views while addressing a big public meeting held in connection with bye-elections in PP-107 Pindi Bhattian today.

PML-N candidate Ch. Sarfaraz Hussain Bhatti and other speakers also spoke on the occasion.He said that Imran Khan is holding public meetings in Faisalabad and Sialkot while PML-N government is engaged in construction of economic corridor from Khanjrab to Gowader and Lahore-Karachi Motorway. He said that Imran Khan has not honourd even a single promise made to the people of KPK and his cronies use indecent language against opponents.

Hamza Shahbaz said that if the dream of Imran Khan to become prime minister did not materialize, we are not responsible for it. He said that Imran Khan should quit politics of agitation and prove to be a mature politician and resolve the problems of people according to mandate given by people of KPK. Hamza Shahbaz asked Imran Khan whether he has solved the problems being faced by the people of KPK.

Hamza Shahbaz said that he is ready to accept Imran Khan as a leader if he had constructed even one km road in KPK. He said that Imran Khan was a silent spectator at the time when his cronies were using indecent language in Faisalabad. He said that people reject those who do not respect their elders. He said that besides character building of youth, PML-N government has also set up laptop scheme, soft term loans and training of youth through youth festival.

Hamza Shahbaz Said that 660 megawatt electricity will be included in national grid from Nandipur Project during the current year. He said that Sahiwal and Gowadar power plants will also start producing electricity and China has announced investment of 32 billion dollars in Pakistan. He said that Imran Khan wants to hoodwink the youth while Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif is resolving the problems of people in the real sense. He said that the promise of giving soft term loan to the youth has been honoured so that they could earn their livelihood.

Hamza Shahbaz said that people of Pindi Bhattian are fully aware of the importance of motorway. He said that after winning election, PML-N candidate will pay full attention to resolve the long standing problems of the people of the area.
