Assembly members congratulated CM on the agreement of metro train project

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that Muslim League-N government is implementing an exemplary agenda of public service and every effort is being made under the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to resolve the problems being faced by the country. He said that PML-N leadership will come up to the expectations of 18 crore people of Pakistan at any cost.

He was talking to assembly members of various districts who met him, here today. They included Sheikh Rohail Asghar, Muhammad Khan Daha, Ashiq Gopang, Manazar Hussain Ranjha and Muhammad Waheed Gul while Haji Irfan Ahmed Khan Daha, Mansha Ullah Butt and Afzaal Bhatti were also present on the occasion.

The Chief Minister said that national resources are being spent only on the welfare and betterment of the masses. He said that while the government is serving the masses sincerely, some political elements are involved only in the politics of confusion and chaos. He said that these elements are worried over the process of progress and prosperity of the country and the speedy and sincere efforts being made towards implementation of power generation projects.

The Chief Minister said that work on three mega projects will be started within next few days. He said that besides laying of foundation stone of Ruyi Masood Textile Park in Faisalabad, two coal power projects of 150 megawatts will also be set up. Similarly, he said, foundation stone of two most modern coal-based energy projects of 660 megawatts will be laid in Sahiwal this month.

The Chief Minister said that Nandipur Power Project is also being inaugurated during the current month which will produce 100 megawatts electricity. He said that completion of Nandipur Power Project within a short period of seven months is a result of best team work and commitment.

Assembly members who met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif congratulated him on the agreement of metro train project and said that this project is a revolutionary step towards provision of modern transport facilities to the masses.

They expressed the hope that Shahbaz Sharif will also complete Metro Train Project with the same speed and commitment at which he had executed metro bus project for the provision of latest, comfortable and economical travelling facilities to the citizens.

Assembly members said that by serving the people round the clock, Shahbaz Sharif had proved that he is committed to the welfare of the masses. They said that Metro Train Project reflects the vision of Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and is a splendid gift to the citizens.
