PML-N Shujaat Khan reserves his seat in Punjab Assembly

Lahore: Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that the success of PML N candidate in by election in Narowal and the defeat of PTI candidate has proved that people of the whole country have complete confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and fully support the policies of the government.

He said that election results are a big setback to the politics of Imran Khan and a message has been conveyed to him by the masses that Muslim League-N, lives in their hearts.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that Imran Khan should learn a lesson from his defeat and give up his childish politics. He said that PML-N has gained further popularity during the last one year as a result of sincere efforts of its leadership for the solution of people’s problems. He said that PML-N is working day and night for ridding the country of load-shedding and terrorism and the dream of making Pakistan a peaceful and respectable country will be realized.

Earlier, while addressing a meeting of office-bearers of PIA Air League Lahore, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that due to the efforts of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, PIA has once again started its journey towards progress and prosperity. He said that federal government has decided to provide 25 passenger planes for strengthening national airline financially out of which, ten planes will be handed over to the institution next month.

Due to the positive measures of the government PIA has succeeded in earning profit first time after a period of 12 years, he added. He said that air league will achieve an excellent success in the referendum on June 5 and will verify the successful policies of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that air league is a subsidiary trade union of our party associated with Muslim League-N and its workers are making efforts for making PIA the number one air company of the world.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif assured the office-bearers of air league that Muslim League-N will not take such a step which will result in downsizing of the institution or causing loss to the interest of the employees. He stressed upon the employees of the institution to work with full attention, hard work and honesty for the accomplishment of the vision of Nawaz Sharif that PIA will have to be made the best air institution of the world once again.

He said that government of Nawaz Sharif is making efforts round the clock for the development and strengthening of the institution especially eliminating the energy crisis. He said that neither investment will be made in the country nor relief will be provided to the common man in the real sense till the elimination of energy crisis.

Hamza Shahbaz said that Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has today signed an agreement with China for laying orange line railway track in Lahore. Lahore will become an international standard city with the project to be completed in a period of 27 months, he added.

Meanwhile,Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has congratulated PML-N candidate Col. Retd. Shujaat Ahmed Khan on winning bye-election in PP-136 Narowal.

He said that excellent success of Muslim League-N in bye-election reflects the confidence of people in the policies of the government. He said that PML-N government is implementing programmes of provision of relief to the people according to its manifesto. He said that public service is the pivot of PML-N politics.

He said that newly elected member parliament, Col. Retd. Shujaat Ahmed Khan should utilize all his energies for the development of the area and solution of problems of the people.
