Election Commissioner PCB announce re-poll in Haiderabad and Multan

Lahore : Mir Suleman Khan Talpur, President RCA Hyderabad has been de-notified on 17^th May 2014 by Election Commissioner, due to inherit defect in his eligibility to become as President of RCA. Under the rules, a President of Regional Cricket Association (RCA) cannot be elected for 3^rd consecutive term from District Hyderabad.

Imtiaz Ahmed Malik, President DCA Multan has been de-notified on 17^th May 2014 by Election Commissioner PCB, on account of failure to comply with the instructions given by the Election Commissioner. Fresh election schedule for the seat of President DCA Multan would be announced shortly.

The President DCA Multan had to submit an undertaking, within three days of its notification, which is a pre-requisite for assuming the charge of elected office of cricket association, which was not submitted.
