Lahore: Law Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said democracy is guarantor of peace and human rights, Pakistan is a democratic country and media enjoys full freedom.
He was talking to Swedish Parliamentary delegation led by its Speaker per Westerberg, who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The Minister said the democratic government believes in empowerment of women. He said Prime Minister wants representation of women in all departments.
Pervaiz Rashid said Pakistan is a democratic country and media enjoys full freedom.
