Punjab Excise & Taxation Department considering bounty proposal for the persons identifying non taxpayers

Lahore: Punjab Excise & Taxation Department is considering a proposal to give 20% of tax recovery and fine as prize to the persons identifying non taxpayers and unregistered vehicles after passage of 15^th May deadline.

People including school children, staff of Excise department, traffic police, Punjab Highway Patrol, Motorway Police and local police will be included in this scheme so that the tax thieves could be held accountable to generated maximum revenue.

It is worth mentioning that incidents of dacoity have considerably decreased as a result of strict checking.

Meanwhile, Director General Excise & Taxation Punjab, Naseem Sadiq has ordered opening of Excise offices till 12:00am on Thursday, May 15 for tax collection. He also directed staff of Excise Department to provide full assistance and guidance to tax payers for payment of their tax.
