Lahore: Provincial Ministers Rana Sana and Rana Mashud have claimed that ” Tsunami and container baba show flopped badly as people rejected politics of protest and sit-ins.

Provincial Minister for Law, Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that Imran Khan’s show has flopped. Despite giving a free hand to transporters and workers, their participation in the rally was disappointing. By rejecting protest sit-ins, people have proved their political consciousness. Imran Khan has given nothing but disappointment through this show. The news regarding stopping of transport and people are baseless. Defeat in elections and failure of rallies have made Imran Khan a mental patient.

In a press statement, Rana Sanaullah said that despite a free hand to transporters and people, only 10 to 12 thousand persons out of total population of ten crore participated in the rally. He said that 90 percent people were brought from KPK for which resources of KPK were used ruthlessly. People have rejected Imran Khan’s politics of protest. Those leveling allegations of rigging should also bring proof. People have stopped believing in Imran Khan. Rana Sanaullah said that masses have once again rejected those who are involved in politics of protest and they are totally disappointed. He said that people of the country are fully aware of those who are creating chaos and they have proved their political awareness by disassociating with politics of protest. The opponents do not want to see the country making progress and their agenda is negative politics.

After failure of today’s show, those involved in politics of protest should reconsider their attitude. He said that the opponents are totally perturbed over political popularity of Muslim League-N and want to achieve their objective through negative politics. Rana Sanaullah said that no government official went to inquire after the people who were injured in bomb blast in Peshawar nor anyone attended their funeral. People of KPK are protesting against the cruel attitude of the provincial government, he added.

Provincial Minister for Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan has said that “Tsunami and Container Baba” shows have badly flopped and participation of only few thousand persons has made them realized the facts that Q-League’s alliance with PTI and Tahir ul Qadri is equal to zero plus zero. Pervaiz Elahi’s participation in the rally was an attempt to make political capital after his defeat in elections, he added.

In a statement, the Minister said that Chaudhary Brothers have learnt nothing from their defeat in general elections. Out of 148 seats of National Assembly in Punjab, Q-League did not have candidates for 124 constituencies and only 24 candidates took part in the elections. He said that out of these 24 candidates, securities of four candidates were forfeited while 20 candidates obtained negligible votes. Rana Mashhood said that Pervaiz Elahi can never come into power from back door. He said that those enjoyed power under the patronage of a dictator cannot hoodwink the people.
