Lahore: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has expressed his gratitude to Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Senator Ch Shujat Hussain for supporting the stance of his party.
A PTI delegation headed by Jahangir Tareen called on Ch Shujat Hussain and Secretary General Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed at his residence here. He was accompanied by Ishaq Khan Khakwani.
The delegation conveyed a message of Imran Khan to Ch Shujat Hussain in which it has said that in future, line of action of the opposition will be formulated through consultation and unanimity. During the meeting, it was agreed that process of consultation will be continued in future.
Ch Shujat Hussain said that the decision of the opposition about protest against rigging was absolutely right, protest of the opposition has given a message to the rulers that people have come out on the roads against rigging in the general elections of 2013.
