Hamza Shahbaz gives financial assistance to the parents of Manahil and Zain

Lahore: Member National Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif has said that the discussion regarding uncertain situation in the country should be ended now. He said that there is complete unity among all national institutions. He said that Pak Army has rendered sacrifices on frontline and we all love our army. He said that the nation salutes to the sacrifices of army martyrs and their heirs on Martyrs Day. He said that all segments of the society including media should focus their attention to the real issues of Pakistan including elimination of terrorism and extremism.

He expressed these views while talking to media after expressing his condolences with the parents of two children who died due to falling into manhole a few days ago in Shahdara today.

Hamza Shahbaz Sharif also gave away cheques of financial assistance for five lakh rupees each to the parents of Manahil and Zain on behalf of Punjab government. He said that he shares the grief of the parents.

Talking to media, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that such tragic incidents cannot be avoided without streamlining all civic institutions including WASA, on modern lines. Therefore, Punjab government has started taking steps for capacity building of WASA, he added. He said that we will have to strengthen our institutions for marching forward. He said that if the institutions should work properly, such incidents will not occur in future.

Replying to a question, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that he has recently returned from China. He said that PML-N government has made important agreements with China including motorway from Karachi to Lahore, economic corridor from Kashghar to Gwadar and Orange Line Metro train in Lahore. He said that these projects will play an important role in the development of the country.

Replying to another question, Hamza Shahbaz said that people are the real source of power, therefore, public representatives should keep close liaison with the people of their areas and resolve their problems.
