Shahbaz Sharif and the British High Commissioner cut the birthday cake of British Queen

Lahore: CM Punjab spent a very busy day in Lahore.He had several meetings with different personalities and attended First Overseas Pakistanis ceremony and also cut the birth day cake of British Queen.

According to the details , Shahbaz Sharif and the British High Commissioner cut the birthday cake of British Queen in Lahore. Congratulating on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said that British Queen has proved strength of her character and abilities through public service. He said that British cooperation in education, health and other sectors in Punjab is commendable.

Earlier, British High Commissioner Philip Barton called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today. Matters of mutual interest and bilateral relations were discussed in the meeting. Talking to the British High Commissioner, the Chief Minister said that there are deep-rooted friendly relations between Pakistan and Britain.

British High Commissioner said that Britain attaches high importance to its relationship with Pakistan and will continue to cooperate for its progress and development.

Executive Director of a prominent German company in energy sector Lahmeyer International, Rolf Wigand also called on Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today. Matters regarding cooperation between Punjab government and the German company in energy sector were discussed during the meeting.

Executive Director of Lahmeyer International assured that his company will cooperate with Punjab government in energy sector.

A delegation led by President Pakistan Muslim League-N Qatar, Rashid Rafiq Butt met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, here today.

Talking to the delegation, the Chief Minister said that overseas Pakistanis are playing an important role in national development and progress and their services in this regard are commendable.

President PML-N Qatar Rashid Rafiq Butt said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif are committed to service of the masses and PML-N government is making sincere efforts for resolving people’s problems.

The delegation included General Secretary PML-N Qatar Malik Nadeem, Chairman Noor Bangash and Secretary Information Hammad Farooqi.
