Lahore: Punjab government has planed to make Aziz Chowk signal-free in Gujranwala which will cost five billion rupees and will be completed within five months.After the completion of Aziz Chowk Gujranwala signal-free project, the flow of traffic will improve and fuel and the precious time of the citizens will be saved.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif presided over a high-level meeting which reviewed the project of making Aziz Chowk Gujranwala as signal-free in detail. He directed that the work on the project should be started immediately and completed speedily by working round the clock. He said that like other projects of infrastructure, Gujranala Aziz Chowk flyover will also be an example of speed, quality and transparency.
The meeting was told that two lakh 13 thousand vehicles pass through Aziz Chowk Gujranwala daily. Provincial Minister for Housing Tanvir Aslam Malik, MNA Ch. Mehmood Bashir Virk, MPA M. Taufeeq Butt, Chairman Planning & Development, Commissioner Gujranwala, Secretary C&W, MD NESPAK and concerned officials attended the meeting.
