PTI demands handing over of the 25 institutions back to Church

Lahore: A Ceremony to celebrate Easter was conducted in the Punjab office of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf where a large number of Christian and Minority workers of PTI participated in it. Dr. Yasmin Gen Sec PTI Punjab congratulated every body on the celebrations and said that it was a very imp day because PTI was not only celebrating Easter but also Youm-e-Tasees day of PTI she said that PTI believes in the rights of the minorities and that is why PTI is the only party which had made a minority policy and had presented in the media as well.

She said that the Chairman Imran Khan wants Quaid-e-Azam vision to be a reality and thus according to Quaid-e-Azam vision the minorities of Pakistan should get equal rights and PTI being a party of justice will ensure that.

She said that Shanila Rout MPA PTI Minorities had fought for the minority rights in the assembly and had made sure that the voice of Christian community and the minority is heard by the government. She said that after 40 years the Edward College in KPK had been handed back to church and that was primarily because of Chairman Imran Khan wanted to do justice in the every aspect of the government.

She said that on the Youm-e-Tasees of PTI the chairman will announce the action plan for the future.

Shanila Rout MPA PTI Minorities said that it was wonderful occasion for PTI and the minorities for the first time that Easter and Youm-e-Tasees of PTI were celebrated together in the history of PTI. She said that she was extremely grateful to the Chairman Imran Khan and the President Punjab Ejaz Ch, Gen Sec Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid  who along with many other had put up the case for the Edward College KPK and had succeeded in giving this college back to the church.

She said that the PML-N government should emulate this example as despite any demand in 25 institutions in Punjab had still not given back to the Christians. She said if PML-N government really wants to do justice then these institutions should be given back to Christians and also said that PTI was the first party which was organizing minority wing all over Pakistan and she had already visited all the regions of Punjab and mobilized to setup other parties and example to follow.

PTI MPA Aslam Iqbal said that it is because of PTI’s vision of justice and equal rights for all that so many communities today are sitting together and celebrating Easter and Youm-e-Tasees. He said that in the assembly and outside it PTI would do everything to ensure justice and equal rights for the minorities.

Later a cake cutting ceremony took place which was Central Joint Sec Shabbir Sial, Central Vice President Dr. Seemi Bukhari, Brg. Aslam Ghuman, Malik Shahzed, Aliya Hamza Malik, Rukhsana Naveed, Omar Zaheer Mir, Sabqa Sabdad, Malik Azam, Mahindar Pal Singh President South Punjab, Ejaz Augistuin Joint Sec Punjab, S.M Sabir, Father Emenuel Khokhar, Shahid Azeem ,Ashraf Assi, Usman Saeed Basra, Ishitiaq Malik, Naveed Ahmed, Farhan Chishtie, Adnan Jamil, Luqman Qazi and Shehryar Raza were also present.
