PTI regrets over closing of mausoleum on Iqbal Day

Lahore: PTI President Punjab Ejaz ch speaking on the occasion of the anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal said Allama Iqbal’s vision was to make a welfare state and hence that it is written in the constitution of PTI that the concept of the welfare state given by the founders of Pakistan Allama Iqbal and Quaid-e-Azam will become the pillar of PTI governance in the country.PTI 21-4-14

He said that today Pakistan was being run like autocratic government where the only people who were important are the people in power and the common man is suffering because of government’s failure in providing them with any form of welfare.

He said it was sad that on the day of the anniversary of Allama Iqbal his mausoleum was not open to the common man as it was covered with the security while people are being killed every day as more than 1200 elite workforce are dedicated to the security of The Sharif family.

He said that the concept of Iqbal’s philosophy revolves around providing the country with justice and self esteem and the core values which the PTI is working in KPK.

PTI Gen Sec Punjab Dr. Yasmin Rashid speaking said that Allama Iqbal gave a vision of taking the Muslims out of the clutches of Hindus and British and now after 100 years which still the same position in Pakistan as PTI is trying to take the country out of clutches of the powerful families of PML-N and PPP who have come into power multiple times while there assets and businesses and bank accounts have increased and the public assets of Pakistan and its economic position has becoming bankrupt.

She demanded that the government immediately open up the Allama Iqbal mausoleum for the common man and also announced that PTI will be promoting the teachings of Allama Iqbal by having one day a week reserved for iqbaliat teachings.

Central Joint Sec Shabbir Sial, Central Vice President Dr. Seemi Bukhari, Mehmood Joya, Raja Abid Younas, Munaffar Gondal, Ahmed Raheem, Muhammad Adil, Ishtiaq Malik, Irfan Ahmed, Luqman Qazi, Shehryar Raza, Farhan Chishtie, and other office and party bearers were also present.
