PU awards 3 PhD degrees

Lahore: Punjab University has awarded 3 PhD degrees to the scholars in which Sher Ali S/o Hamaish Gul in the subject of Urdu after approval of his thesis entitled “Bartania Maen Urdu Shaery Ki Riwayat”, Rubina Kaukab D/o Kanwar Badar ud Din in the subject of South Asian Studies after approval of her thesis entitled “Urbanization in Pakistan Impact of Population Growth 1972-2007” and Muhammad Imran Mahmood Khan S/o Muhammad Shafique Khan in the subject of Biological Sciences after approval of his thesis entitled “Protein Engineering of Xylanolytic Enzymes for Improved Properties”.

Meanwhile,PU Examinations Department has issued the schedules for submission of admission fee & forms for Medical Examinations of MS and MD Part-I second annual examination 2011 & annual examination 2012.

According to the details, the last date for submission of admission forms with single fee is 30-4-14 while the forms can be submitted with double fee till 02-5-2014. Commencement dates of the said exams are May 26, 2014.
